The Portable CD Player with
Radio, model 3414, is a portable adapted compact disc player and radio designed for use by children and adults with severe physical, neurological, or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. This CD player with AM/FM radio has been adapted so the user can play a CD or activate the radio with a capability switch (not included). The unit has two jacks for the capability switch – one to play the radio and one to play a CD. The radio function requires continuous activation to play. The unit features full range stereo speakers with a digital LED display, and it is designed to fit on a wheelchair tray. A capability switch is required for operation.
