Mobility Ventures Proudly Joins NADA’s Long History of Commitment to Quality and Ethics

(SOUTH BEND, Ind.) – Mobility Ventures LLC, designer and manufacturer of the acclaimed MV-1, the only American vehicle purpose-built and designed from the ground up in support of people who use wheelchairs, is honored to announce being named the first ever “Wheelchair Accessible” automobile in the National Automobile Dealers Association Commercial Truck Guide.

NADA member dealers must subscribe to the association’s Code of Ethics that outline high principles of transparency, responsibility, professionalism and respectful customer service. Implicit in the listed code of ethics is the requirement that NADA members comply fully with all federal, state, and local laws governing their businesses.

“Mobility Ventures is now recognized by the National Automobile Dealers Association which represents an important milestone for any automobile company, and we are proud to be included in this exclusive organization” said John Walsh, Mobility Ventures Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “Entrance into NADA represents recognition of the shared values of commitment to quality service and the maintaining of the highest ethical standards. These values are embedded in our company culture from the factory floor to the showroom to the aftermarket service provided to our valued customers.”

The National Automobile Dealers Association began in 1917, and at its inception was founded on the idea that the automobile is a necessity of American life. Today, NADA represents nearly 16,000 new-car and -truck dealerships with about 32,500 franchises, both domestic and international.

Mobility Ventures’ MV-1 meets all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards direct from the factory with no modifications. Additionally, the MV-1 is more durable and cost effective to own and operate than a traditional retrofitted van or bus. It is dedicated to transporting all passengers, with or without mobility challenges, making it the perfect solution for both consumer and commercial fleet services.

While other accessible vehicles are converted to accommodate ramps and wheelchairs, the MV-1 was designed specifically around those who use wheelchairs. With a side-entry ramp, ample head room, and the ability for wheelchair users to ride as front seat passengers, the MV-1 is redefining accessible transportation options.
